Scheppers Moved Back To Bullpen At AAA OKC
The Rangers have moved RHP Tanner Scheppers out of the starting rotation at AAA OKC and put him back in the bullpen. This could mean that the Rangers are considering Scheppers as an option for the major league bullpen at some point this season.
Scheppers has pitched 43 2/3 innings at OKC this year, his current ERA is 4.12
However, when promoted to AAA Scheppers was used exclusively out of the bullpen – his ERA in 19 IP as a reliever is 1.89 – with 10 BB, 27 K and an opponents batting average of .197
