Ben Snyder clears waivers
Pitcher Ben Snyder has cleared waivers and the Rangers are trying to work out a trade with the San Francisco Giants. Snyder was the Rule 5 pick who had a 9.00 ERA in six games this Spring.
The Orioles selected him in the Rule 5 draft last winter and then included him in a trade to the Rangers along with pitcher Chris Ray for Kevin Millwood.
If the Rangers can work out a trade, Snyder will pitch out of the Oklahoma City bullpen.
