Rangers Claim IF Iribarren

The Rangers have claimed IFHerman Iribarren off of waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.

The 25 year old Iribarren is primarily a lefthanded hitting second baseman.  He’s seen very limited playing time in the majors (27 AB’s total for the 2008 and 2009 seasons – .185 BA).  During 6 seasons in the minor leagues with the Brewers he has accumlated a .314 BA/ .371OBP/ .418 SLG/ .781 OPS in 2,359 ABs.
