Rangers sign Endy Chavez

The Rangers have signed outfielder Endy Chavez to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Spring Training. Chavez was with the Mariners last year, hitting .273 in 54 games.

He is coming off major knee surgery and will not be ready for the start of the season.
