Millwood drawing some interest
Rangers pitcher Kevin Millwood is drawing some interest from other teams at the Winter Meetings.
The Rangers met with the Orioles on Monday and Baltimore is a team that is actively looking for a veteran starting pitcher who could anchor a young rotation.
Problem is…Millwood does exactly that for the Rangers. General manager Jon Daniels also made it clear that the Rangers are not under orders to clear any payroll.

Millwood is 2 games over .500 as a starting pitcher with the Texas Rangers. The money we spent on him at the time was good money. But now we have some young arms that are ready to go. Just think how awesome this staff would be if we had kept DANKS and VOLQUEZ. It was smart to renew Millwood, but if we can get something of value for him then i say do it. I want Feliz in the rotation with Hunter, Holland, Harrison and Feldman. That is a young staff: Triple H and the two F’ers kind of makes you forget about DVD, DVD, DVD!!!! Has Hicks left town yet??????
