Rangers release Ryan Freel
The Rangers have released infielder Ryan Freel from Triple A Oklahoma City. They have signed pitchers Mike Wood and Chris Cooper, and infielder Justin Leone and assigned them to Triple A Oklahoma City. Wood pitched briefly for the Rangers. Cooper has been pitching in the Italian League.
Freel played in two games for Oklahoma City. Freel was 2-for-6 while with the Redhawks.

Now that was a brillant signing and lasted a long time……… So much for the veteran utility player.
And the Dodgers get Belliard on the cheap. Now that we’re owned by MLB we should start worrying about next year and the year after. There’s a great window of opportunity with the talent the Rangers have. Lets hoep the ownership situation doesn’t get in the way of what could be a great 5-6 year run!!!
