Rangers activate Francisco, demote Madrigal
The Rangers activated Frank Francisco from the disabled list before Sunday’s game against the Mariners. They sent down reliever Warner Madrigal to make room for Francisco on the 25-man roster.
Francisco is 2-1 with 15 saves and a 2.28 ERA over 27 2/3 innings pitched this season. He is returning from his third trip to the disabled list this season, this time due to walking pneumonia.
