Royals claim Metcalf
The Royals have claimed third baseman Travis Metcalf off waivers from the Rangers. To replace him, the Rangers have signed Esteban German….Metcalf was the Rangers primary backup at third base behind Michael Young but the club needed the 40-man roster space.

3 and 0! Nice start. Bullpen a little scary today. However, the game was already out of hand so maybe they were pitching a little too relaxed. I want to see them pitch under duress. But something feels really good about this team. Will there be a new Hunt for Red October?
