Rangers acquire Koshansky
The Rangers have claimed first baseman Joe Koshansky over waivers from the Colorado Rockies. He has been added to the 40-man roster and optioned to Triple A Oklahoma where he will be the starting first baseman. Justin Smoak is expected to be at Double A Frisco. Koshansky hit .300 with 31 home runs and 121 RBI at Triple A Colorado Springs last year.
