No TV for Young

Michael Young will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Diamondbacks. He is sidelined with tight left quad muscle. The Rangers insist that he would play if this were a regular season game. They also insist that he would not have come out of Tuesday’s game against the Mariners. He may play tomorrow but the Rangers are in Maryvale (west Phoenix) against the Brewers. It might seem Friday night is more likely.

Eddie Guardado is now pitching in the A game against the Diamondbacks.
