Bannister sidelined
Pitcher John Bannister has forearm soreness in his right arm and did not pitch in the intrasquad games. The soreness is unrelated to the elbow. Bannister missed all of last season because of Tommy John surgery. He has been getting treatment and is supposed to throw in the bullpen tomorrow.
