Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away….

Forget Alex Rodriguez… just click below and know this is what the Marlins played before their home games in the 2003 World Series.

I’m known as being the ultimate homer, the last couple years I’ve gone into the season being a realist in hopes to be pleasantly surprised….I’m going back to being a homer. More fun that way.

Likely you’ve already seen it, but the song in the vid made me think of it, a sports montage done by ESPN with Dream On as the music. Very well put together.

Hey virgin, i just don’t see MLB tying themselves with a rock group “Aerosmith” well, that has had it’s issues with substance abuse… Not in this environment, maybe with Nancy Reagan…..”Just say no to drugs…” And TR, i was crucified on here for saying that Young just doesn’t get to balls that the average SS will get to and then you turn around and write in your report…..Andrus gets 2 more balls than the average SS, his range factor is 4.97 to Young’s 4.59. Are you merely espousing the company line or have you been educated? Andrus makes more errors but they are reportedly throwing errors from balls that no one else will get to. The bottom line is Andrus is going to improve the interior defense. This will help the E.R.A. , if it knocks it down by 1 run then we aren’t last in team E.R.A. and may just win those 8 extra games that Nolan wants. Now on to this, Andrus being given chance as SS. Wow, i hope it is more than a chance and the kid realizes that they want him to win the spot. I like Vizquel and he probably is still a better SS than Young, but it is Andrus’s spot to lose. Does this mean if he stinks it up that Vizquel still plays there? Yes it does, makes you wonder and or see how the Rangers really feel about Young as SS that a 41 year old injured player is esteemed more so than Young. I still move Young back to second and Kinsler to third. Scratch that i trade Young when i get the chance. He and Cat don’t fit here, this is Ham’s team, the face of the franchise will soon be in Boston or California……

Ultimately, i don’t believe that anyone cares about A-Rod and the steroid issue. However, i believe he got off the hook way to easy. In my job, i learn that if you ask open ended questions you get open ended answers. So when i walk up on someone and i smell the odor of burn’t marijuana. I don’t ask have you been smoking marijuana, because they will say No, why do you ask? I say i smell the marijuana where is it? I ask specific questions that tie the suspect down. I would have liked these questions asked to A-Rod. You lied to Couric back in the day and now you are saying that you lied. So why should we believe you now? You are now saying that you are not using steroids? Are you now using HGH or any other PED’s which if later discovered that you will decide to divulge. You were teammates with Yankee Roger Clemens, Andy Petit and Gary Sheffield did they introduce you to HGH? Are you willing to take a polygraph and blood test to be specifically tested for HGH or any other PED’s? How many more home runs did you hit that you may believe would have been outs without being on PED’s? In other words what exactly or how much did it help you? If it wasn’t helping you then why did you continue to do it for what you are saying is only 3 years? How much money do you think that you have earned is a direct result of you using PED’s? Isn’t that what this is all about money or is it about being the best because your father abandoned you and you were raised by the YMCA?
