Padilla to miss start Sunday

Vicente Padilla has been scratched from his scheduled start Sunday because he wasn’t able to throw his bullpen session Saturday. Dustin Nippert will start Sunday in his place.

Padilla had his last start pushed back to Sunday with inflammation in the right side of his neck. Washington hopes Padilla will be able to throw a bullpen on Sunday.
