Rangers close on Ross

The Rangers are close to signing second-round pick Robbie Ross, the high school left-hander from Kentucky. He is in town to have a physical in advance of getting a contract done before Friday’s deadline. No word yet if the Rangers will be able to sig first-round pick Justin Smoak.

Why worry, whats the big deal? I remember the last high school lefthander that we drafted and where is he? Pitching for the White Sox and what exactly and why did we trade him? And why did we also give them Massett? Shouldn’t Danks for Mc Carthy been the deal? Stupid, stupid, stupid. The bottom line is you can never have enough starting pitchers or pitching. At this point, doesn’t Galarraga for Soriano not look so horrendous. Only if he were doing that in a Texas uniform. My main point is you can never trust the “organization” They told us Wilkerson was highly sought after well i don’t believe that one. Somewhere along the line someone saw something in Galarraga but it was overlooked and he was given away.
